A sonnet I decided to write for my boyfriend. I tried to write it about our relationship. My boyfriend and I have been together for two years now, and yeah, we’ve had some fights. I had to put the “isn’t over yet” because of a time where we almost broke up. The “The time we created the art we drew” is about the first time I asked him to come spend time with me. I had asked him to come to the public library with me to finish drawing a picture. We took turns drawing something small on a paper and together drew a large picture. It hangs on my wall above my bed. “We spoke different yet felt the same” talks about how during school we would always say that we would never date, even though both of us in our heads had a crush on each other. We never knew until we said something.
