I saw your story in the recommended area, and noticed that it had a 3 star rating, so out of curiosity I came over to look at it. You writing seems solid, but I didn't really read that much as I was bored before I even made it to a character (I have the attention span of a cat). I highly recommend working on your opening chapter to intersperse the world building details with action to hook readers better. (I did skip ahead a little, and your writing overall seems good, which is tempting me to continue from further in, but since I wasn't hooked right away its hard for me to get into the story)
